There are lots of methods for you to prepare asparagus, but roasting is our absolute favorite. Once the stalks darken and crisp, they are not burning, they are developing more flavor. Here’s to prepare perfect asparagus each time.
- Trim the woodsy ends. The foot of asparagus spears are super tough and extremely difficult to bite through, even if cooked. Cut them off!
- Season generously. You shouldn’t be shy with pepper and salt otherwise your asparagus can change out v bland.
- Roast in one layer. Should you overcrowd the pan, you risk steaming the asparagus, which may stop char. Char is nice!
