Cherry cobbler

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 levels F (175 levels C). Put the butter inside a 9×13 inch baking dish, and put within the oven to melt as the oven is preheating. Remove when butter has melted, about a few minutes.
  2. Inside a medium bowl, stir together 1 cup of flour, 1 cup of sugar, and baking powder. Add the milk until well blended, then pour the batter in to the pan within the butter. Don’t stir.
  3. Wash it out the bowl in the batter, and dry. Place cherries in to the bowl, and toss using the remaining 3/4 cup of sugar and 1 tablespoon of flour. Distribute the cherry mixture evenly within the batter. Don’t stir.
  4. Bake for 50 to an hour within the preheated oven, until golden brown. A toothpick placed in to the cobber may come out clean.
